My little 2 year old.

I must admit, I cannot believe it has been two years. Time flies when you have a child. I'm sure you all know this tid bit of information of course. I mean, there is never a dull moment. I am going to speak for Bob too when I say we are having the time of our lives. It is so funny that we could really be having a terrible day. Bob and I can come in from work and look like we have been beat to death. Kayden can be pitching a fit. The house a wreck and smells from the garbage we should have taken out that morning. And just before Bob and I go to sleep we can't help but to talk about how much we love Kayden and recap our favorite Kayden moments of the day.
So, this may get long winded but, I need to list some things that Kayden loves to do at the moment.

1. Kayden loves to be outside and playing with the neighborhood kids.
2. If you just add water to whatever she is doing outside she is in heaven.
3. She is a daddy's girl and will request a Jeep ride often.
4. She loves the silly bandz, bubbles, baby, and blankie.

So, naturally, I learned a few quick lessons from Kayden.

First, when Kayden first arrived on the scene I wanted to do everything and be perfect.
Secondly, I wanted to her to have everything.
And finally, I wanted to be doing whatever other people were doing for their children.

My lessons learned were:
1. Nothing is ever perfect! There will always be the perfect Easter dress complete with a chocolate milk stain by the time you get to church.
2. & 3. There is no outfit or event that is more important than spending time with, and truly be savoring the moments with my family.

We didn't let the weather get in the way of a 2nd birthday celebration!

I nearly had a nervous meltdown when I awoke Saturday morning to realize that the weather was unstable. I say this because it was my precious angel's second birthday. I had the cake and cupcakes, favors and of course the venue. We were scheduled for parties on the move at 2p.m. So, I watched the news to see if there was any possibility of the weather cooperating. But, by 9:30 a.m. I realized I would never chance my family, friends and their children. I hope no one takes offense but I wouldn't have attended a party that day neither. So, what do we do?
We blew up the bounce house in the middle of the living room and ate cake.

Happy Halloween!!

Because I'm such a terrible blogger,
and, there is no way I could possibly post 440 pictures from april 'til now, I'll pick up with Happy Halloween!!!
Kayden is going to be a baby chick this year. And I must say that I got a ton of good pictures with her costume on. We went to Tannehill and I got busy snapping the camera. I only wish I could post them all. It would take a small miracle but if I could get a picture with all of her cousins in their halloween costumes it would make my day. Hunter and Jackson are going to be a monkey and elephant, and Breanna is going to be a pig. With Kayden as a baby chick they will literally be a zoo!!
There is so much to talk about but I will save them for more posts. Bob and I have picked up different hobbies. I got into embroidery and sewing so, I will have to post pictures of my stuff. And Bob bought a Jeep. So naturally he wants to "fix it up." I can promise you this, between Bob and Kayden, there is never a dull moment.
Love yall, Jen

My sweetie pie!!

I just wanted to post some recent pictures of my sweetie pie. She is adorable, hilarious and such a pistol..reminds me of her dad so much. Kayden and Bob are so much alike it's scary. We will be heading to the beach for the weekend and I can't wait to see how Kayden likes it the second go 'round. I'm sure it will be an adventure.

Happy First Birthday Kayden!

First of all, I cannot believe Kayden has had her first birthday. It seems like only yesterday when she was born. It really reminded me to enjoy these moments with her. And yes, even when I want to run into the street screaming she has been such a blessing.

...about the party. The party was a scorcher. I should have had a kiddie pool party but, if I would have done that, it would have been sub zero and raining. So this is what really happened; we rented a jumper, we had two toddler swing sets, two tents for shade, cake, fruit, cheese and crackers, a lot of caprisuns and water and to top it off a mad house of folks whom I love and cherish greatly. Kayden had such a great time and was absolutley exhausted by the end of the day.

I just want to say a great big Thank you to everyone who came to the party and let you all know that we all love you guys so very much.
