Time flies when you have a child. I'm sure you all know this tid bit of information of course. I mean, there is never a dull moment. I am going to speak for Bob too when I say we are having the time of our lives. It is so funny that we could really be having a terrible day. Bob and I can come in from work and look like we have been beat to death. Kayden can be pitching a fit. The house a wreck and smells from the garbage we should have taken out that morning. And just before Bob and I go to sleep we can't help but to talk about how much we love Kayden and recap our favorite Kayden moments of the day. <br />So, this may get long winded but, I need to list some things that Kayden loves to do at the moment.<br /><br />1. Kayden loves to be outside and playing with the neighborhood kids.<br />2. If you just add water to whatever she is doing outside she is in heaven.<br />3. She is a daddy's girl and will request a Jeep ride often.<br />4. She loves the silly bandz, bubbles, baby, and blankie. <br /><br />So, naturally, I learned a few quick lessons from Kayden. <br /><br />First, when Kayden first arrived on the scene I wanted to do everything and be perfect. <br />Secondly, I wanted to her to have everything. <br />And finally, I wanted to be doing whatever other people were doing for their children. <br /><br />My lessons learned were:<br />1. Nothing is ever perfect! There will always be the perfect Easter dress complete with a chocolate milk stain by the time you get to church. <br />2. & 3. There is no outfit or event that is more important than spending time with, and truly be savoring the moments with my family.<br /><br />Bob and Kayden...."I love you both so much."-Momma<div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-11124517322469808282010-04-29T19:12:00.000-07:002010-04-29T20:07:43.441-07:00We didn't let the weather get in the way of a 2nd birthday celebration!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/S9o8p6MVjiI/AAAAAAAACIE/Lcr7W5Z1Imc/s1600/IMG_4616.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/S9o8p6MVjiI/AAAAAAAACIE/Lcr7W5Z1Imc/s400/IMG_4616.JPG" /></a> I nearly had a nervous meltdown when I awoke Saturday morning to realize that the weather was unstable. I say this because it was my precious angel's second birthday. I had the cake and cupcakes, favors and of course the venue. We were scheduled for parties on the move at 2p.m. So, I watched the news to see if there was any possibility of the weather cooperating. But, by 9:30 a.m. I realized I would never chance my family, friends and their children. I hope no one takes offense but I wouldn't have attended a party that day neither. So, what do we do?<br />We blew up the bounce house in the middle of the living room and ate cake.<br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/S9o8qnIqdwI/AAAAAAAACIU/wyWTc9s_ivc/s1600/IMG_4625.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/S9o8qnIqdwI/AAAAAAAACIU/wyWTc9s_ivc/s400/IMG_4625.JPG" /></a> <div style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; CLEAR: both"><a href="http://picasa.google.com/blogger/" target="ext"><img style="BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; BACKGROUND: 0% 50%; BORDER-TOP: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial" border="0" alt="Posted by Picasa" align="middle" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif" /></a>Thankfully, Parties on the Move let us move our party to the next day. And I must say that I got a ton of good pictures with her costume on. We went to Tannehill and I got busy snapping the camera. I only wish I could post them all. It would take a small miracle but if I could get a picture with all of her cousins in their halloween costumes it would make my day. Hunter and Jackson are going to be a monkey and elephant, and Breanna is going to be a pig. With Kayden as a baby chick they will literally be a zoo!! </div><div> </div><div>There is so much to talk about but I will save them for more posts. Bob and I have picked up different hobbies. I got into embroidery and sewing so, I will have to post pictures of my stuff. And Bob bought a Jeep. So naturally he wants to "fix it up." I can promise you this, between Bob and Kayden, there is never a dull moment.</div><div> </div><div>Love yall, Jen</div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-58655643963352964552009-06-02T12:38:00.000-07:002009-06-02T12:51:39.163-07:00My sweetie pie!!<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SiWBTo5Ep3I/AAAAAAAABK8/0oNpUKEEK8M/s1600-h/IMG_0825-1.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342818707339257714" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SiWBTo5Ep3I/AAAAAAAABK8/0oNpUKEEK8M/s320/IMG_0825-1.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SiWBTOdGU2I/AAAAAAAABK0/ktUevMr2GAU/s1600-h/IMG_0629.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342818700242604898" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SiWBTOdGU2I/AAAAAAAABK0/ktUevMr2GAU/s320/IMG_0629.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SiWBS2Ks4fI/AAAAAAAABKs/3ZGz8UVich0/s1600-h/IMG_0683.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342818693722989042" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SiWBS2Ks4fI/AAAAAAAABKs/3ZGz8UVich0/s320/IMG_0683.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I just wanted to post some recent pictures of my sweetie pie. She is adorable, hilarious and such a pistol..reminds me of her dad so much. Kayden and Bob are so much alike it's scary. I'm sure it will be an adventure. </div></div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-44624096266098949112009-04-30T10:26:00.000-07:002009-04-30T10:49:06.562-07:00Happy First Birthday Kayden!<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SfngdTl97QI/AAAAAAAAAkM/zPkoLfubsNM/s1600-h/IMG_3240.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330538428050042114" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SfngdTl97QI/AAAAAAAAAkM/zPkoLfubsNM/s320/IMG_3240.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />First of all, I cannot believe Kayden has had her first birthday. It seems like only yesterday when she was born. It really reminded me to enjoy these moments with her. And yes, even when I want to run into the street screaming she has been such a blessing.<br /><br />...about the party. The party was a scorcher. I should have had a kiddie pool party but, if I would have done that, it would have been sub zero and raining. So this is what really happened; we rented a jumper, we had two toddler swing sets, two tents for shade, cake, fruit, cheese and crackers, a lot of caprisuns and water and to top it off a mad house of folks whom I love and cherish greatly. Kayden had such a great time and was absolutley exhausted by the end of the day. <br /><br />I just want to say a great big Thank you to everyone who came to the party and let you all know that we all love you guys so very much.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-42795934777715994132009-04-02T11:24:00.000-07:002009-04-02T11:50:14.769-07:00Bad day for pics.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SdUETpBNTVI/AAAAAAAAAgo/ERFOL2Cx17g/s1600-h/IMG_6803.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320163270283054418" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SdUETpBNTVI/AAAAAAAAAgo/ERFOL2Cx17g/s320/IMG_6803.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SdUETHKj91I/AAAAAAAAAgg/jl4wDTeNfyc/s1600-h/IMG_6578.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320163261195482962" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SdUETHKj91I/AAAAAAAAAgg/jl4wDTeNfyc/s320/IMG_6578.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Well these are some of the easter pictures we had made. Bob and I were so excited...nearly jumping out of our skin to celebrate. We really didn't know what to do for a 9.5 month old. But, we did what we thought would be fun! Of course I got her two outfits and yogurt bites. Her daddy got her a teddy bear that is bigger than she is. What did she like the most...the food of course. She is definitely her mother's daughter. But the best part was that Kayden got her mommy and daddy a card! How that little stinker was able to get us a Valentines day for us is beyond me ;)!<br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SZ4H6YJd-CI/AAAAAAAAAdI/scrXGSuaYmU/s1600-h/IMG_2741.JPG"><img style="CLEAR: both; FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SZ4H6YJd-CI/AAAAAAAAAdI/scrXGSuaYmU/s400/IMG_2741.JPG" border="0" /></a> The rest of day was filled with the Grandfolks coming to visit and tell Kayden just how much they loved her. Kayden got her first UA sippy cup from her Grammy and Grandpa Joe.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SZ4H6UwmOpI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/jnijnLzAEWU/s1600-h/IMG_2751.JPG"><img style="CLEAR: both; FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SZ4H6UwmOpI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/jnijnLzAEWU/s400/IMG_2751.JPG" border="0" /></a> Then her Nanna and Buddy got her an outfit, a bathtime book, a stuffed giraffe and more food. Kayden racked up, but really it was just another day to remind us how blessed we are to have such and loving family. <div style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: left"><a href="http://picasa.google.com/blogger/" target="ext"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; BORDER-TOP: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; BACKGROUND: 0% 50%; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px; moz-background-clip: initial; moz-background-origin: initial; moz-background-inline-policy: initial" alt="Posted by Picasa" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif" align="middle" border="0" /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-4035597035180459792009-02-03T18:39:00.000-08:002009-02-03T18:47:41.243-08:00Photo Contest!!<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SYkBtpW4v1I/AAAAAAAAAc4/Qg_VRAEJniU/s1600-h/IMG_3741.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298768320285687634" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SYkBtpW4v1I/AAAAAAAAAc4/Qg_VRAEJniU/s320/IMG_3741.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Hey everybody, Kayden's awesome photographer Kim Sharit has selected one of Kayden's photos for her "Picture of the Year" contest. We had a wonderful first Christmas with Kayden. The first two photos are when we took her to see the Hueytown parade. It was very cold and nothing special to see, although Kayden really enjoyed seeing all the children. Then the following Sunday we celebrated Christmas with her great Memaw. We all had a blast! Kayden loved the paper and bows of course and I loved watching her. The following Monday was Mrs. Wanda's annual Christmas party! The kids were so excited and just nearly jumping out of their skin to open presents. It was also a great time to meet the other childrens' parents. I am going to be posting more Christmas photos with Nanny, Granddad, Nana, Grandpops, Grammy and Grandpaw and of course us! So, please come back and thanks for reading.<div style='clear:both; text-align:CENTER'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-83506181582783220962008-12-12T19:58:00.000-08:002008-12-12T20:23:25.663-08:00Christmas pictures...Kayden of course!<div style="MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5qXHizI/AAAAAAAAAX4/FKKY04EzjFM/s1600-h/0012.jpg"><img alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5qXHizI/AAAAAAAAAX4/FKKY04EzjFM/s320/0012.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5uylwlI/AAAAAAAAAYA/ONnzdClCZd4/s1600-h/0022.jpg"><img alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5uylwlI/AAAAAAAAAYA/ONnzdClCZd4/s320/0022.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><br /><div style="MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5gqA7wI/AAAAAAAAAYI/hvEndtT1D0k/s1600-h/0034.jpg"><img alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5gqA7wI/AAAAAAAAAYI/hvEndtT1D0k/s320/0034.jpg" border="0" /></a> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5wP8VPI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/UIAN1jWgesA/s1600-h/0037.jpg"><img alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SUMy5wP8VPI/AAAAAAAAAYQ/UIAN1jWgesA/s320/0037.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div style="CLEAR: both; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><a href="http://picasa.google.com/blogger/" target="ext"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; BORDER-TOP: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; BACKGROUND: 0% 50%; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px; moz-background-clip: initial; moz-background-origin: initial; moz-background-inline-policy: initial" alt="Posted by Picasa" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif" align="middle" border="0" /></a>I cannot believe that it is Christmas time, nor can I believe that Kayden will be 8 months old on Christmas Eve. I mean, where does the time go. She is just growing too fast. She pulled up and stood on her own this past Monday. Sure, her brief moment of standing was followed by the thump of her bum hitting the floor. However, she crawling and pulling up on anything and everything. I now understand when people say that I should really cherish these days. These days...will be gone before I know it. So, this is going to be my attempt to blog and get over it. After getting home from work yesterday I made a chicken casserole. I had finished cooking the casserole when I decided to open a can of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">lima</span> beans to go with it. At the same time I picked <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Kayden</span> up because Bob was coming through the door. Kayden went to an awesome princess birthday party for Kylie last Saturday. The party included a huge princess moonwalk and a princess castle cake, too cool!! </div><div> </div><div>And once again we had to clean out Kaydens' closet. Which is funny because Kayden loves to look in her closet. She watches so intently as I take every item out that she can no longer wear.</div><div> </div><div>We also went to Jesis' house to watch the Auburn game. Yep, you heard me right...Auburn. Even though Bob, Kayden and I were the only Alabama fans there, we were on our best behavior. Go Commadors!</div><div> </div><div>Now the best part. Last night I put Kayden down at her usual time 7:30ish. At around 3 a.m. she started to stir. I got up went to her room and put her paci in her mouth rolled her on her side and she went right back to sleep. I didn't her another sound from her until 7:45 this morning. Wow!!! This could be a fluke but, let's keep our fingers crossed.</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1538771430577923277.post-43220983473391163152008-09-27T11:45:00.000-07:002008-09-27T12:08:38.126-07:00A full week!<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SN6EVibE2_I/AAAAAAAAAKY/ty2Kd7jQW0g/s1600-h/IMG_1756.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250779721113066482" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SN6EVibE2_I/AAAAAAAAAKY/ty2Kd7jQW0g/s320/IMG_1756.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SN6DpzlePzI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/MAhi7kftGbo/s1600-h/IMG_1753.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250778969805831986" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SN6DpzlePzI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/MAhi7kftGbo/s320/IMG_1753.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SN6C68d39ZI/AAAAAAAAAKI/md6HHEcqcR4/s1600-h/IMG_1750.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250778164736030098" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_lBb9eK-wsDw/SN6C68d39ZI/AAAAAAAAAKI/md6HHEcqcR4/s320/IMG_1750.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>This week has been incredibly busy for our family. It all started when Bob got sick the week before last. He ended up in the bed for nearly a week. Then I went to get Kayden out of bed the following Thursday and she had a fever (right ear infection). With the fever aside, I don't believe she even knew she was sick. But, to top things off I end up in the bed sick by Saturday night. It was a crazy time but everyone is back to regular scheduled programming and we are doing great. </div><div>Since the last post Kayden has begun to roll over, and over, and over again. I have been trying to figure out how to post the video so hopefully I will have it up soon. She has also found her feet and everytime I put her on her changing table she grabs them. I should say that lately it seems like when she isn't rolling over, she is holding onto her feet.</div><div>Kayden also enjoyed sitting in her bumbo seat and watching the Tiger Bowl.
